Having Becka on our birth team was really great! This was our first baby so the entire prenatal and birth experience was all so new and somewhat overwhelming. It was really helpful to have someone like Becka to go to ahead of time with our questions, decisions, and in coming up with our birth plan. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. During the birthing process, Becka was there for us both and also worked really well with the nurses at the hospital. For my husband it was really nice to have someone that could suggest to him different ways to help and encourage me, as well as someone to step in for him when he was tired and needed a bit of a rest. Becka was a calming presence for both of us, as well as very encouraging and supportive. I really appreciated how she intuitively suggested different positions and ideas to deal with the contractions as I laboured. We really appreciated Becka’s physical, emotional and informational support and highly recommend her to anyone having a baby!
